Our partnership with local businesses is one of the reasons that the Wapping Fair has made great strides in recent years! Last year over 100 businesses were recognized as Wapping Fair Partners! Thanks to their generosity, the fair has added premier attractions like Roderick Russell (sword swallower), Jayna Lee (acrobat, contortionist, stilt walker), racing pigs and dachshunds. In addition, the fair has significantly upgraded the agricultural exhibits, now over 12,000 square feet, by purchasing new rabbit and poultry cages, goat and sheep pens, etc., to make the exhibits more user friendly and attractive.

Besides making the Wapping Fair a better fair, our sponsors are also indirectly helping make our community better. More than 50% of the fair proceeds go directly back to the South Windsor community. Through a partnership with the Town of South Windsor, the fair will reserve 50% of its profit each year towards a community capital project chosen by the town and fair. In 2005, the Jaycees, through proceeds of the Wapping Fair, made the following contributions to the community: $2,500 to the Town of South Windsor Police Department to assist in the funding of a new police dog, $1,000 to the South Windsor Fire Department for training equipment, $1,000 contribution to the Phase 2 Ropes Course, $800 to My Friends' Place to assist in building a barrier free playground and $350 to Family Awareness Day to support the continuation of the event.

Corporate Banners
Companies may choose from 3 sizes on a white vinyl banner. Text, logos and trademarks in multiple colors all may be included. We recommend that you provide a camera ready copy, but we can assist to a limited degree in designing your banner. Every sponsor is welcome to contribute 250 promotional items for our Thank You Packets and all $200 or higher packages include the full 4,000 Thank you Packets offer at NO CHARGE. In addition, sponsorship packages above $250 will have the added bonus of having thier name listed as one of our contests or attractions sponsors at the event. Prices range from $100 to $750.

Fair Map Sponsor
A limited number of business card sized spaces are available on our fair maps, which are distributed to all fairgoers. This is excellent for businesses that want to distribute coupons or extend an invitation to potential customers. Approximately 4,000 maps are used each year. The price is $100.00 per space.

Thank You Packets
As fairgoers exit the park they will receive a 'Thank You' packet from the fair with information about the Jaycees, The Wapping Fair and other business inserts. The inserts may be no larger than a 8 1/2" X 11" single sheet of paper. Approximately 4,000 'Thank You' packets will be given out each year. $200 per insert and business will supply inserts. Inserts must received by August 24 to be included!

Product or Services Exchange
Many of our corporate sponsors are businesses that offer services or products (hardware supplies, restaurant gift certificates, copying services, etc.) that the Wapping Fair would usually have to pay for. So, in many cases the fair is more than happy to arrange a trade of services or products in exchange for a corporate sponsorship. If you believe your business has a product or service that would benefit the fair we would welcome the opportunity to discuss it.
